Former President Donald Trump wishes to celebrate his wife Melania Trump’s birthday in Florida on Friday but is unable to spend the day with her due to his “rigged” criminal trial in Manhattan, he told reporters.
Before heading into trial, Trump wished his wife a “very happy birthday” and promised to fly back to Florida on Friday evening to share as much time with her as he could.
“I want to start by wishing my wife Melania a very happy birthday,” Trump said. “It’d be nice to be with her, but I’m at a courthouse for a rigged trial.”

Good for you, Mr. Trump. Tell it like it is!
This is how you use the MSM against themselves. Take their weapons and shoot
them with them
When you’re struggling to get the charges straight but already know the outcome...
Yes, you’re in a rigged kangaroo court surrounded by dems
Payback for this will be a monumental bit*h! No wonder the left is terrified!
This judge would not let Trump be in his own funeral.
The stupidest mistake ever made in the history of mankind was when the media hooked up with the CIA.
Will even the Dems as well as the so called Independents feel a little sympathy?
One analyst thinks the black people slightly moving toward Trump is because of sympathy about innocent people being railroaded and bullied by the legal system.
“First his sons graduation and now this.”
Unlike the graduation which is at a fixed time and place conflicting with the trial, it is possible for Melania to be in New York on her birthday and for the two of them to enjoy the evening when court is not in session. I know if I was on trial in another state, my wife would be with me in the courthouse for the entire trial so if her birthday fell on a trial date we would be together. Perhaps they have a different relationship and different priorities such that they can only enjoy the day in Florida. Perhaps the restaurants in New York aren’t what the used to be.
I do think it is in extremely poor taste for the judge to not cancel court on the day of Barron Trump’s birthday. He is punishing the son as well as the father on trial.
Fair or not, Trump is on trial and courts do not normally arrange trial dates around the personal wishes of the defendant. If an average citizen was on trial the situation would be the same. Would a trial judge in New York recess court for a day so any defendant could travel to another state for a graduation or birthday? If not why then would Donald Trump, a corporate CEO, a U.S. Senator or a celebrity deserve special consideration?
