Kari Lake's revelation about being approached to sit out of politics for two years on behalf of "powerful people back East" should have been on every media network. But the story died a pretty quick crib death, imho. But it does indicate what appears to be SOP in DC.
They TRY to get dirt on EVERY politician.
Former Congressman Madison Cawthorn of NC stated he was invited to go to a swingers party by another congress critter.
Apparently, it is a well know thing in the DC area.
He declined the invitation.
This is how it works in DC. They get you compromised and then they control your vote. Then they own you.
Then they help you get reelected.
