FBI fails to turn over subpoenaed Biden 'criminal scheme' document during briefing
Washington Examiner ^ | May 22, 2023 | Gabe Kaminsky

The FBI failed during a closed-door meeting on Monday to hand over a document sought by the GOP-led House Oversight and Accountability Committee that allegedly details a "criminal scheme" involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and an unnamed "foreign national."

The committee's chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), revived his request for the FBI form to Director Christopher Wray on Friday, accusing the agency of interfering with his subpoena launched on May 3 with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Weeks later, the bureau has yet to hand over the document, which Comer and Grassley say was first tipped off to them by a whistleblower.

"At today’s staff briefing with FBI officials, the FBI again did not produce the unclassified record subpoenaed by Chairman Comer," Jessica Collins, a spokeswoman for the committee, told the Washington Examiner. "The Oversight Committee will announce next steps soon."

The whistleblower disclosures reviewed by Comer and Grassley purportedly indicate that the Justice Department and FBI possess a FD-1023 form, which is typically an informant report, with information on how Biden and a foreigner allegedly exchanged "money for policy decisions." Much remains unclear about the investigation and what laws Biden could have violated in connection to the purported financial matter.

Prior to the Monday staff briefing, the FBI had told the Oversight Committee it can figure out "how we can accommodate your request without violating our law enforcement and national security obligations," according to Comer.

"The FBI’s delay in producing a single FD-1023 form is unacceptable," Comer wrote in his Friday letter. "The Committee has already offered a reasonable accommodation to address the FBI’s stated confidentiality concerns but the FBI to date has refused to meaningfully engage in discussions about how the Committee can obtain the information that it needs. Instead, it has sought to change the subject by offering to provide the Committee with information it has not requested."

Comer's subpoena is a window into how House Republicans have accelerated their investigations into the Biden family's finances since earning a majority in November. Two weeks ago, the congressman released a 36-page memo based on bank records showing that the Biden family, including Hunter Biden, took $10 million from Chinese and Romanian accounts while Joe Biden was vice president.

The FBI declined a request for comment.

FBI and DOJ know that, republicans in congress in charge of oversight, are toothless and weak.

Therefore, no repercussions against Wray or Garland.

Next!

Then just cut the FBI’s budget to zero in the debt ceiling negotiations. Put the ‘poena’ back in subpoena.

Comer should have the Sgt. At Arms arrest Wray and toss him into a cell with the J6 prisoners until his juniors provide the document.

As long as the Biden cabal and Merrick Garland control the Department of Justice and have the corporate owned MSM shielding them, Congress can pass as many contempt citations as they like and nothing will happen. The FBI is firmly under the control of the Biden cabal and has been ordered not to give up that document or anything incriminating to Biden or the Democratic Party.

Congress has oversight authority. They also control the budget.

They could defund or deactivate the FBI. They could also remove corrupt judges.

Unfortunately, they will do neither.

Release the J6 tapes. All of them.

oooh.. Contempt of Congress.

Might as well tell Wray and Farland that, their mothers wear combat boots. That'll scare them.

Contempt of Congress only works when democrats accuse a republican of it. Otherwise, it's a laughable charge for democrats.

Democrats know how to do it, republicans only talk about it

In a fascist government the police function can simply tell you to F-off, then they can ‘take care’ of you at their leisure.

Guess what kind of system the American system really is today?

Good, I would too.

The FBI does whatever it wants, spies on Congressmen using their own staffers as informants against them. etc. And still, Congress renews FISA and PATRIOT. They give them all the money they want. They build them a multibillion dollar HQ center.

If Congress refuses to yank their leash, why WOULDN’T the FBI refuse to turn over documents.

Congress deserves this.

At best they will issue a meaningless letter of contempt of Congress. But nothing beyond that.

Subpoenas are meaningless when everyone in DC knows Congress will do nothing to enforce them.

Congress will do nothing.

There is only ONE WAY to fix the FBI. Every citizen on a Jury needs to vote not guilty on ANY case, State or Federal where the FBI is even tangentially involved.
If their crime lab sends evidence, not guilty. If an agent testifies or was involved, not guilty.

I don’t care if they have a videotape of an Al Qeida terrorist smuggling nuclear AR-15 Fentanyl on the way to a pedophile party at Epstein island. NOT GUILTY.

We on juries can put these bastards out of business. Keep doing it until they scream and submit. Put them OUT OF BUSINESS in the Jury box.

the FBI had told the Oversight Committee it can figure out “how we can accommodate your request without violating our law enforcement and national security obligations,” according to Comer.

So it violates national security of their oversight committee sees what they are doing. Comey, freaking criminal from a dope bank.
