Nancy was a TERRIBLE person and I know this, because my progeny went to the same elite, private day school, in Chicago that she did and I met her once and worked on a charity thing WITH her, there.
She was a horrid snob, cold, and I had even worked on her husband’s presidential campaign in Chicago, yet I apparently wasn’t “good enough” for her highness!
So WHO was she nice to?
Well, she put on an “act” for one teacher and was a bit chummy with a couple of alums ( my age, not her’s! ), one of whom was actual a friend of mine and a Rockefeller descendant, whose family had lived in the same building that she had as a teen. My friend and her family lived in that penthouse ( she had inherited it ), BUT she NEVER knew that person, though her parents MIGHT have known Nancy’s parents, though I doubt it.
