There are also millions (perhaps billions) of stars that have burned off all their energy and then go dark...
so, can we also attribute those events to how the aliens abused the energy of those stars and killed them off?

True scientific translation: “A survey of five million distant solar systems, aided by “neural network” algorithms, has discovered 60 stars that show energy signatures for which the scientists do not underdstand how those signatures are being produced.”
It is simply beyond scientists understanding right now.
So, some scientists, with some willing reporters, invent strange theoretical answers to explain what they do not understand.
This is a total waste of money. Shut down all government funded space exploration and building billion dollar telescopes. How much money does government give to private organizations and people to fund research? All a waste. Most thinking people know, the money goes to rich corporations, or Universities with HUGE endowments. WASTING MONEY, for a pretend idea that man can go to the planets. Worst of all, that we can go to the stars.
Probably just some heavy asteroid belts due to large satellite collisions.
