President Trump spoke with reporters following another wasted day sitting in court before corrupt New York Judge Juan Merchan for crimes that have yet to be defined.
President Trump was threatened earlier today by far-left Judge Merchan with jail if he continued to defend himself in public.
This is blatantly unconstitutional but Democrats get away with a lot of unlawful acts these days. Republicans like to look the other way.
President Trump told reporters he would gladly go to jail to defend the US Constitution.
President Trump: Because this judge is giving me a gag order. And said you’ll go to jail if you violate it. And frankly, you know our Constitution is more important than jail. It’s not even close. I’ll do that sacrifice any day. But what’s happening here is a disgrace, and the appellate courts are out to get involved.

I think there are two main reasons Trump is testing Judge Merchan. First he wants to anger the judge to the point that the judge makes a mistake which leads to Trump’s conviction being overturned by a higher court. Second, Trump wants his first trip to a jail cell coming from violating a gag order rather than a conviction in the hush money trial.

There is no advantage to Trump taunting the judge right away, it just reinforces the caricature most people have of him.
I would suggest Trump let his lawyers go of the attack (and I do thin Alina Habba has been really effective at this) while he acts more "Presidential".

The greatest fighter for our country ever, and you want him to sit down and shut up? If the founding fathers would have done that ,we would have British accents . The enemy is front of him and he must take it to them, if our country is to be saved.
Not at all. If the 'judge' jails him, it opens up immediate avenues of appeal that other actions of the judge do not. He's daring the judge to lock him up as a strategic move.
Yes and exposing the crooked justice system the democrats use to keep their path of control open.
