Dutch police use bulldozers to destroy Hamas encampment at the University of Amsterdam.
After the violence we saw yesterday, this needed to be done.

Bulldozer Operators celebrate with Pancake Breakfast!

Rachel Corrie was NOT run over by a bulldozer. She was perched on a rubble pile, lost her purchase and tumbled into the blade. She appeared to have a bloody nose and maybe a concussion at the scene. IDF medical personnel on site offered medical assistance which she declined.
She was taken to a Palestinian hospital, where she soon “succumbed to her injuries”, exhibiting a Frankenstein set of stitches on her face, that seemed unrelated to the minor injury she had sustained at the site.
The lesson should be: Never entrust you life to people to whom you are worth more dead than alive.
I flat out don't know...
They’re widening the road in front of where I work. The earthmoving equipment is amazing (excavators, dozers, off-road trucks). Motors are almost silent. Excavator bucket can be very precisely controlled. No delay changing from one motion to another. Tons of power.
I remember when the operators would have to back off of their pushing or digging to keep from killing the motors.
There’s a construction site next to where I work and they have a brand new bulldozer there. It’s so new the paint is still on the blade................

Machinery including the computer/internet stuff is eliminating the need for we humans to do anything but look, listen, and push on the glass screens, and walk to an office or vehicle to take us somewhere.

After days of standing around suffering insults and spittle, being able to put truncheon to cranium has to be a bit cathartic.
It’s one thing to have a “free marketplace of ideas”, and something else to occupy and restrict public and/or private space to advocate for anti-Semitism and terror.
