By the way, slavery was a "States Rights" issue to, but at least grown people of color can enjoy the protections of the Constitution that millions of babies won't..
I didn’t say it was okay; do not put words in my mouth. The states bear their own guilt; to say “US” means it’s all fifty states.
BTW, bringing up slavery is a red herring, what with that not having been imposed on all states in the Union by an evil SCOTUS decision (Dred Scott v. Sandford did not do that, as many problems as it caused in and of itself); and it is arguable about that being states’ rights matter also.
