September 3, 2004, terrorist took over a school in Russia. Based on the terrorist training school districts are having, I believe that slaugher was a test and the terrorist passed with an A+.

Fewer than 30 terrorist managed to close off the school in a matter of minutes holding between 800 and 1,500 men, women, and children hostage. The stand off lasted almost 3 days. Many of the hostages that survived said there were multi weapons and bombs, indicating, (IMHO) there was inside help in preparing for this.

The demands changed from releasing a few prisoners to Russia leaving a country. Unrealistic demands and never the real intent. I believe this was a world wide practice for things to happen right here. If about 30 terrorist could do what these did, as quickly as they did and for as long as they lasted, how many terrorist would it take to take an elementary school hostage? 5? 10? 15? What would they demand? That we and our allies leave Iraq, the Middle East? That we all convert to Islam?

Parents and authorities would be frantic. Parents would demand compliance with whatever the terrorists wanted: immediately. Forgotten in the minutes, hours, and days ahead would be facts about these terrorists: This is a religious mission and suicide brings the biggest rewards. Acquiescence to demands or not will only bring death to as many children as each terrorist can "take with him when he meets Allah".

I am terrified for us. September 11, 2001 was horrible. Ninteen fanatic men killed thousands in just a few minutes. What kind of death and destruction could a few thousand fanatic men and women spread across this great country of ours produce? The damage would be incalculable.

I pray that I am wrong. I also pray for good to triumph over evil.

For anyone who thinks that God was on vacation last Tuesday, this should change your mind. For those of you that know that God was busy on Tuesday, this will confirm it.

Dear Family and Friends,

I had a very dear friend question my faith in God right after the terrorist attack on America. Her question was simply put, "Where is your God today?" She was very hurt, as all Americans were, so I tried not to react defensively. Since that moment I have prayed and grieved over the disastrous events. However, I believe I have the answer.

I know where my God was the morning of September 11, 2001! He was very busy. First of all, he was trying to discourage anyone from taking these flights. Those four flights together held over 1000 passengers and there was only 266 aboard. He was on 4 commercial flights giving terrified passengers the ability to stay calm. Not one of the family members who was called by a loved one on one of the high-jacked planes said that passengers were screaming in the background.

On one of the flights he was giving strength to passengers to try to overtake the high-jackers. He was busy trying to create obstacles for employees at the World Trade Center. After all only around 20,000 were at the towers when the first jet hit. Since the buildings hold over 50,000 workers, this was a miracle in itself. How many of the people who were employed at the WTC told the media that they were late for work or they had traffic delays.

He was holding up 2-110 story buildings so that 2/3 of the workers could get out. I was so amazed that the top of the towers didn't topple when the jets impacted. Although this is without a doubt the worst thing I have seen in my life, I can see God's miracles in every bit of it. I keep thinking about my friend and praying for her every chance I have. I can't imagine going through such a difficult time and not believing in God. Life would be hopeless.

There are so many more miracles that happened that day: At least two more flights had hi-jackers aboard but were grounded before anything could happen. GOD was indeed busy on 9-11-01.
