I am a Systems Programmer working for a company that handles mutual fund accounts for many of the top mutual fund companies (we get paid so much for each account activity, so we do well whether the market is up or down).

Beautiful wife, 3 good kids (17, 14, 9), nice home, no money (see first two items). Would like to be a consultant helping companies use the product NetView from Tivoli. Ideal job: work from home as a consultant, for companies located anywhere in U.S. (modern communications are wonderful!).

Active in a local IDPA club. I shoot a Para-Ordnance .45. Good accuracy, somewhat slow. I have a Florida CCW license, but have never been anywhere that I could use it.

I am a recovered Democrat (I was one of the hundred or so people who voted for McGovern in 1972). :)

After the birth of our oldest kid in 1987, I realized that only the Republican party was doing the things that keep our country safe for her. It was at that point that I realized that I am a Conservative, and proud of it! I realize now that I had been creeping toward the Republican point of view since 1972, but officially got there only in 1987.
