I'm a downstate conservative trying to serve taxpayers in ever-left wing Department of Human Services. I deal with Chicago Liberals daily and have to remind myself I'm keeping a roof over my family's head, clothes on their backs, and food in their bellies.

I'm also a nice, married mother of 3, who is a practicing Catholic, but that works for me. If you practice a different faith tradition, more power to ya! Whatever path will get you to the Lord is fine by me!

I don't like the whole liberal ideaology because it sorely lacks reasoning and logic, although I can agree to disagree with people. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law are democrats, but I love them anyway. I really don't have any use for feminazis, the pro-abortion crowd, or tree huggers, but rather than trying to confuse them with facts, I just smile and nod when they go off on a witless diatribe.
