Yes, I really am a tenured professor at a major law school. I am one of the relatively few legal scholars who believes that the Constitution means what it says rather than whatever happens to conform to the current platform of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party - which is an apt description of mainstream constitutional law and scholarship. No, that does not sit well with a lot of my fellow academics, but I publish a lot, teach pretty well, and am a good institutional team player, so I am generally faintly tolerated.
