I will not compromise on conservative ideals, because one doesn’t compromise principles. This fact has cost me grievously in many instances and respects, but hasn’t slowed me a damned bit, and I would do it all over again. I agree with Ted Nugent: ...”if you’re taking flak you must be over the target.” If I can add to the above: I became active in conservative Republican politics in 1962, when I was fourteen years old. I was a charter of Young Americans for Freedom, when they went nationwide in 1967 or 68. I have worked for conservative candidates on all levels until present. I almost flunked out of college on two occasions, because I was so busy working for conservative candidates that I didn't study, eat, or sleep, as I should have. All I wanted was a return to that time in American history to where citizens saw a call to duty, served, and then went home with honor. In respect to this current primary cycle, I think we are getting to that point. At present, I am so content with that!
