The answer should be obvious, if not perhaps you should get to know America better. The America I love is the America closest to me: family, friends, good neighbors, honest and brave people in the community. Throughout America one can find goodness and beauty. This nation truly is “America the Beautiful”. Persons who have complaints about the American scene don’t acknowledge one of her strengths: America’s ability to undergo changes guided by her citizens. America is not perfect as nothing created by man is perfect, but America is man’s best hope and embodies humankind’s noblest and highest aspirations.

Loving America does not preclude criticizing America. Debate, argument, discussion are quintessential American traits. America thrives on Freedom of Speech.
