I moved from Texas to New York City to marry in 2005. While I can’t say that I was shocked over the rampant liberalism that appears to dominate here, I am shocked and dismayed over the rabid Bush-hatred that appears to permeate the culture.
I started my web site, www.johnoverlandjr.com, partly to join the fray on the Conservative side and partly in reaction to the vile extremism I have seen and experienced from Liberals since moving here. While I have met a few New York Conservatives, the message is clear that New York Conservatives are a minority. I think it is critically important for us to reach out and educate our fellow citizens about what Conservatism really means and how it best defines and protects individual liberty.
