A Baconian is one who subscribes to the position that Sir Francis Bacon (1561-1623) was the light behind the great literary works of 16th century England, including those of William Shakespeare. While many so-called enlightened academicians continue to believe the illiterate actor, Will Shaxper, wrote the immortal plays, the hard evidence points to one, and only one man.

For a truly enlightened, very humorous overview of this "greatest of all literary problems," readers are encouraged to find a copy of Mark Twain's short book "Is Shakespeare Dead?" - available as a free e-book, at: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/2431
