MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax-AVN) - In a special operation to eliminate rebel groups, three rebel groups formerly led by Jordanian Abu Yakub have been completely eliminated.
The operation continues in the area of the Chechen villages of Duba-Yurt, Chiri-Yurt, Stariye Atagi and Noviye Atagi, where six rebel groups with a total strength of 60 to 100 rebels controlled by Yakub were operating, presidential aide Sergei Yastrzhembsky said at a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
Yakub, the main intelligence man of prominent field commander Khattab, was killed on Sunday.
He said that Yakub, 39, who went by the name Salman, was one of Khattab's most skilled allies and handled the rebels' financial flows. Yakub was in charge of the rebels' "intelligence service." After the death of field commander Arbi Barayev he "tried to put scattered rebel groups together," said Yastrzhembsky.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there have been no more such explosions since the Chechnyan population of Moscow was driven out. There were many many Chechnyan immigrants in Moscow. Many illegally there and many who were in the criminal underground
