Go to the After Hours -> Humanities board. Here are some examples of some typical threads: "America should ask why it is hated", "Arabs more human than the Americans", etc. You get the idea. Click the source link to go there and sign up for an account!

I can't see that slightest reason to wander onto an anti-American board and start pulling tails. Where is .ie, anyway?

Ireland? Who cares.

I am getting tired of reading and responding to these enemies of Liberty. They depress me and they are wrong. I will stand with those who will fight evil and simply spit on those who defend cowardly bastards.
I am tired of wasting my emotional energy on those vermin...I will save it for the real battles.

Ireland, home of terrorists? Figures. Let 'em go get drunk as usual. And, by the way, I have Irish roots, so you Irishophiles don't bother bitching at me. Terrorism is done by cowards, not soldiers. Some in Ireland also sympathized with Hitler and even aided the Third Reich, while the US and Britain were fighting for their lives. Many there and HERE need to get their damned priorities in order and their heads out of their asses.

Yeah, this sounds like a waste of time and effort. There are enough weak sisters on FR to take up all of our free time! (I don't need to name them- just read their posts).
I have been guilty of losing of losing my temper with two or three of them- but it is not worth being bounced, so I will stop doing it.

Repeat after me:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Forget these assh*les.
What was even more upsetting than the garbage on that board was the absolute chickensh!t garbage I saw in Union Square Park last night.
That impromptu memorial was set up last week by the bereaved loved ones of the 5,000+ murder victims. It was full of messages of hope and patriotism and solidarity on Thursday. By Monday the ratty college types had peppered it with slogans like "MUSLIMS LOVE PEACE TOO" "SAY NO TO WAR" and "STOP ANTI-ARAB RACISM". They've transformed a touching memorial to the dead into a platform for their leftist politics.
It was unbelievably sickening. There are plenty of native-born enemies and traitors in this country too.

but it is not worth being bounced, so I will stop doing it. I've been sailing close to the wind myself today. If you don't see me again, the good ship Ratatoskr might have gone down with all hands.

Thank you. I'm another Irish Catholic who despises the IRA and the boring self-righteousness of so many Irish "leaders", students and politicians.

I lived in Ireland and many of them are quite liberal Clinton-lovers and it is impossible to reason with them! Others are totally delightful. Just ignore that group, they probably argue about EVERYTHING, anyway...somewhat of a national pastime!

My dear brother and sister FReepers,
At this, of all times in my lifetime, I would like nothing more than to be able to read these threads and reply to them. I have much I would like to say.
BUT, I cannot!
Why?
Because I am trying hard to raise the finances needed to keep FreeRepublic up and running so that we can continue to share valuable information and respond to it.
I beg you, if you have not yet donated to FreeRepublic this quarter, do so now!
I realize you are giving to lots of Relief efforts and I encourage you to do so. But we need to help FR too. Where would we be right now without it?
If you have no money, please come and bump the Fundraiser Thread.
I would really like to reach our goal quickly so that I and the rest of the dedicated FReepers who are working the Fundraiser Threads can participate in what is undeniably the most important time in FreeRepublic's history.

Do either of you (or anyone on this thread) know if the IRA is included on Pres. Bush's terrorisim hit list?

They're bashing the US on
DemocraticUnderground.com too. And those are American citizens. (God knows why they won't leave the country)

I know why they haven't left the country yet. They haven't received a proper "invitation". I think that will have to come soon...

I know for a fact that the IRA had links to Libyan terrorism in the 1980s and has links to Colombian terrorism now - but I'm not sure how they fit into the current picture.
It was my understanding that the famous Carlos was the main connection between Latin American, European and Arab terrorism. It is possible that since his incarceration they have been doing their own thing, the IRA linking up with Colombians in order to get the cocaine needed to fund their extortion scam, oops, I mean "the liberation of Northern Ireland" and the Arabs turning inward.
In any case, I pray that the IRA are on the State Department's hitlist. It would be in their PR interest to do so - it would show that they weren't just targeting Muslims in particular but all cowardly murderers.

I saw that by Saturday morning they had arranged candles into a large peace symbol; turned my stomach. Mr. H and I had a big argument about it that morning. He stopped by on his way home from work on Monday, and told me I was right after all--the peaceniks have taken the memorial hostage.
Anyway, uh, you will have freepmail in a sec. :)

We shut down an extremely humorous pacifist website yesterday in a couple of hours on
this thread; some folks are pretty bored waiting for the site to come back up, so I'll go post a link back here.
