After you get it oiled and cleaned, be sure to learn the correct way to load the clip so you don’t get Garand thumb, then have fun!

After you get it oiled and cleaned, be sure to learn the correct way to load the clip so you don’t get Garand thumb, then have fun! It will slam on your thumb and it will hang on your thumb until you instinctively rip you thumb away leaving a considerable amount of skin on the bolt face. It only takes one time for you to learn. The learning curve is very steep.
