Pay attention ... this is modus operandi henceforth.
We've lost the Republic.
It's over
Prepare
Maverick strikes again.
He really really really doesn’t care much for his fellow veterans, does he?
Here we go...
So McCain’s kid didn’t join the Marines for Tricare...
Really? Ask anyone who has a family what they think...
And adjusting med costs annually to med inflation means costs for the military member and retiree will constantly increase...
BOHICA
Another case of we won’t know what’s in it until it’s passed.
I joined, and rejoined four more times for Tricare. It wasn’t called “TRicare”, it didn’t even exist by that name yet. I wanted it (and was promised it) even more than the pension that was also promised. My medical expenses, and those of my wife have been greater than all the pension payments since 1988. I had the foresight to see this.
I can almost - sorta agree with McLame on one thing. Very, Very few people join at first for Tricare.
But when that first reenlistment comes up the service member starts to weigh the benifits of getting out or staying in.
One benifit that made me re-up and service over 20 was Free Health care for me and mine for life.
“Free” sure is starting to cost more and more.
Veterans Administration waste is unfathomable, and the drugs are no exception.
How did the writer of that article ever get the gig?! I got dizzy attempting to follow the switched syntaxes and double negatives.
Since ratface McLame is involved, he could have just said that the Senate is out to screw the military one more time and we all would have understood completely!
According to Shakespeare, brevity is the soul of wit.
I’m used to getting angrier each day, but this takes the cake. Not ONE of the parasites have given up anything, while suggesting the very people guarding our freedom take the hit. I would gladly stand in line to piss on their grave if the good Lord gives me the time. Bloodsuckers, both parties!
I wonder how many who were congressional bloodsuckers that continue to receive their healthcare. Yet the first ones who are attacked are the active duty / veterans. Not long before there is only one class, the political elite and everyone else. These peckerheads don’t give a damn about God and country. The way they are acting after the election is a prime example of what they think of the citizen of this nation.
McStain looking out for our vets. What a guy!!!
MCCAIN’S COMMENTS ABOVE ARE FLAT OUT, UTTER LIES. LIES, LIES, LIES. No, we did not join for TRICARE. No RearEndHole, we did the years because we were told if we accepted LESS PAY, the years in total away from our families, the 18 moves in 25 years, that we got the pay, and health care for life, for free. Yes, liar, free. That was the deal. That caved in the 1990s, under lies from Congress, the Pentagon and Klinton. Lies. That is what they promised. They are LIARS. They told us that we were promised things by recruiters that recruiters had no authority to make. HOWEVER, the Pentagon, commanders, Joint Chiefs, Congress and White House, ALL KNEW WHAT RECRUITERS WERE DOING AND “PROMISIING”!!! They went along with the promises. Now, that makes them PART OF THE FRAUD that they claim recruiters had no authority to make. They KNEW what recruiters were doing and had been doing it for 50 YEARS!!!!! No McCain, I did not join for the benefits. I joined DURING VIETNAM. I did not go to Canada. I went to Nam. I did what I was suppose to do. IT was when I REENLISTED, that the promises for doing the career time, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET!!! The REENLISTMENT COUNSELORS at unit levels made these promises also. They KNEW that these promises were being made by these counselors. They WENT ALONG WITH THE FRAUD. But, now that they need more money for bombs, they screw 60, 70 and 80 year olds who have no way to get anything insurance to back this up. I am going to have to purchase some type of insurance to back up Tricare now. This is going to cost me double what it would have when I was in my 40s and 50s. PLUS the Tricare insurance fees are GOING UP BY DOUBLE EVERY STINKING YEAR FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS. By the time these fools are done, we will have no retired pay check left. I will get it today and hand it all right back in Tricare insurance fees. LIARS. EVERY STINKING ONE OF THEM ARE LIARS!
My dad put in 20 years in no small part for the promise of free health care. He’s seen that promise broken, modified, and altered time and again. He traded 20 years of his life making more money somewhere else, and two tours in Vietnam under and agreement that was later broken.
If McCain thinks pay and benefits don’t affect recruitment and retention, end the benefits and cut the pay and half and let’s see how many show up for ‘love of country’ alone.

I WENT into a public 'ouse to get a pint o' beer, The publican 'e up an' sez, " We serve no red-coats here." The girls be'ind the bar they laughed an' giggled fit to die, I outs into the street again an' to myself sez I: O it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' " Tommy, go away " ; But it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play The band begins to play, my boys, the band begins to play, O it's " Thank you, Mister Atkins," when the band begins to play. I went into a theatre as sober as could be, They gave a drunk civilian room, but 'adn't none for me; They sent me to the gallery or round the music-'alls, But when it comes to fightin', Lord! they'll shove me in the stalls! For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' " Tommy, wait outside "; But it's " Special train for Atkins " when the trooper's on the tide The troopship's on the tide, my boys, the troopship's on the tide, O it's " Special train for Atkins " when the trooper's on the tide. Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap. An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit. Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Tommy, 'ow's yer soul? " But it's " Thin red line of 'eroes " when the drums begin to roll The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll, O it's " Thin red line of 'eroes, " when the drums begin to roll. We aren't no thin red 'eroes, nor we aren't no blackguards too, But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you; An' if sometimes our conduck isn't all your fancy paints, Why, single men in barricks don't grow into plaster saints; While it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Tommy, fall be'ind," But it's " Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind There's trouble in the wind, my boys, there's trouble in the wind, O it's " Please to walk in front, sir," when there's trouble in the wind. You talk o' better food for us, an' schools, an' fires, an' all: We'll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational. Don't mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face The Widow's Uniform is not the soldier-man's disgrace. For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an` Chuck him out, the brute! " But it's " Saviour of 'is country " when the guns begin to shoot; An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please; An 'Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool - you bet that Tommy sees! |
I’d be willing to pay more, because i can afford it IF ... I knew some lowlife on welfare wasn’t going to get bigger check at the expense of me paying more. But if would help another VET that needs help, I’d pay more.
