I used to live in North Charleston...it’s the unwashed armpit of South Carolina.
It’s horrible, but places like Hanahan, etc. have improved. There’s actually a lot less crime overall. I think a lot of the baddies have killed each other and they’re out of the gene pool.
That said, there doesn’t seem to be any justification for this. How could a tubby little black guy (running away) who almost looks like a caricature be a threat to a fit, armed cop?
live in Mount Pleasatnt and every night I watch news there is at least 2 or 3 shootings in North Charleston. I have a feeling this police officer just cracked.
100 % agreed. I don’t miss the place either. Haven’t been in North Charleston in years and it’s only down 26 a bit.
Damn. I was thinking of moving to that area within a year or so, and work for the port there.

When we were telling folks on Hilton Head that we would be going up to MB to check out Bike week, they all asked why and gave us the look like you aren’t really serious about that are you. When we got there we knew what they meant and were trying to convey.
