I agree with you. From my learning Norquist is a shill for democrats. It bothers me to hear this guy acting like the GOP blessing person. I tend to believe there will be some excellent and true conservatives coming out of the backwoods of politics free of people such as Norquist. I also believe there is and will be the cloud of eligibility hanging over Cruz much like that over Obama.

Jeb Bush has something similar to draw from, but also the major stigma of his last name to go along with it.

There is no stigma associated with Paul's last name?

His dad had some good ideas...and a lot of bad ideas. Not to mention some strange notions. On balance, he played the gadfly and was a horrible candidate...as his single-digit support levels reveal.

I know many here dislike Norquist, but he is probably fifty percent right on this one.
I think there are three wings of the Republican party; Conservative,Libertarian and GOPe. that means there are only three on his list that all three wings will vote for. Only three that have not be demonized by one or two of these wings. Gov. Scott Walker, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Texas Gov. Rick Perry. None of whom is my favorite, but each of whom I could vote for.

Are these guys having meetings where they discuss get-rid-of-Cruz strategy? With pep talks and battle plans?

Cruz is the only one who is presidential. Rand Paul possibly so, but only if all the voters are under thirty.

Jeb has possibly been chosen by the New World Order people as our next president. Maybe he could drop the amnesty poison and change his name.

Are you a LOW INFORMATION VOTER?

I am tired of this, Do your research and your homework!

It took me 1 minute

http://dailycaller.com/2013/11/22/gov-walker-wants-to-open-the-door-to-immigrants/#!

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said he would welcome any and all immigrants into the United States if they want to work.

“For me, I’d open the door to making sure that people can legally come into the country,” said Walker, is is preparing a 2016 run for the Republican presidential nomination.

“I don’t care whether it is from Mexico, or India or Germany or Ireland or anywhere else around the world, if we have people who want to come here and work hard and live the American dream, we should embrace those people,” Walker told reporters at a Friday breakfast organized by the Christian Science Monitor.

American Citizens don’t have jobs, our unemployment rate is through the roof, DID WALKER GET THE MEMO????????

Not nearly as much, and with the persistancy, of “Bush”

Like I said, I’m not endorsing him and don’t see myself voting for him in the primary, but Paul has a very good leg up on having a very formidable organization. Which is 1/3 of the equation (the other thirds being candidate performance and ideology/policy preference).

IMMIGRATION/AMNESTY, THATS why Grover supports Walker.

Grover loves illegal aliens invading the country that cannot keep it’s own citizens working

Maybe I’m inviting flames or I’m a bit uninformed, but I sure like Scott Walker. He’s got guts and gets the job done. Although I would stay home if Christie gets the nomination, I would work for Walker.

The most important thing is that we all get behind one candidate and not let the left try to confuse us on which candidate is best by using deceptive tactics like setting up faux conservative groups to promote certain candidates to split the votes so we get another 0dumbo elected.

Speaking as a Texan I would vote for Perry in the general. In the primary if he were running against a Bush, Huckabee, Christie, or any other dim lite yes. If any other 100% conservative was running then no.

This article is obviously part of the gOpE's war on the Tea Party and the guy they fear the most ... Ted Cruz.

If Ted Cruz were to win, the voters would then give the House and Senate to the Democrats to insure gridlock. The GOPe would be out of work and completely out of power, which is all they care about. The GOPe secretly voted for boy Barky... twice.

Grover told us in 2012 that Romney was the guy to get in the White House, and that we just need someone to sign all the great bills coming out of congress. How’s that working?

Correct. And you can take that to the bank. Absolutely no way Christie or Bush get my vote.
