Can you please say a quick prayer for me?
I'm one of those people that COVID wrecked early in 2020. It damaged my lungs, causing me to develop COPD.
My second round of COVID shut down my digestive system for three weeks. A few months later, I developed novel seizures that interrupted the communication between my parasympathetic nervous system and the rest of my nervous system. I would collapse, go blind, become paralyzed, and my automatic breathing would cease. My husband described it as watching me die over and over. I would be vaguely aware that I was suffocating while my family scrambled around me.
I went on Dr. McCullough's BSP detox program and the seizures dropped from 2 or 3 a week to one every few weeks. We thought I had turned the corner.
I was exposed to COVID again in February. I had 5 seizures in 9 days. Back in the hospital.
A week later, my digestive system shut down again. Back in the hospital.
On Monday, I was ambulanced back to the hospital again. I could not get in enough air to ask for help or call 911. I had to text my children that I was in distress. Fluid in the lungs and pneumonia.
To avoid adverse reactions, I have to stagger my pill intake. First, go through the pills to combat the pneumonia. Then, go back to the pills to get my digestive system on line. Then, go back to the BSP detox protocol.
The challenge is that my digestive system doesn't want to wait. My abdomen is distended, my intestinal tract is enflamed, and I've gained 6 pounds in the last week because nothing is passing through.
My pain level is at an 8. I keep a large bowl beside me to throw up in.
I feel like my guts are being shredded. I don't want yet another trip to the hospital.
Please pray that I can make it past the next 48 hours. I've lost 3 weeks of my life to this and honestly can't take it anymore.

Of course we'll pray for you! :D I'm so sorry you've been going through this (understatement of 2024). Another FReeper with COPD said that NAC (N-acetylecytosin) helped her breathing dramatically, and I find it helps my breathing when I have a cold or flu or allergies. Keeping you in my prayers, Honey. *sisterly cyber hug*

You may already be taking it - it’s available in supplement and prescription form. The only reason I posted it to you was because Brandon tried or tries to get it removed from the shelves (without a prescription) which I take to mean it’s probably more effective than pharma and it’s usage ‘forgotten’ by some medical establishments. *’nother hug*
