I was discussing St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, with my son and how he was involved with the birth and life of Jesus. Our knowledge of him is quite scant but he did God’s will for him to assume responsibility for a child he did not father. I respect all of those men who are foster fathers, by adoption or otherwise. St. Joseph is certainly a great role model. God bless you all.
