After their corporate rejection of Christ, literal Israel is finished. Satan doesn’t hate them/obsessed with them, any more than any other non-Christian group. However, he does hate this group, which most “Christians” are sadly not a part of:
Revelation 12:17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Seems odd that God would preserve them as a unique and identifiable people for 2,000 years (despite near-constant persecution), bring them back into their land, and resurrect their nation if they are "finished." People who are conquered and dispersed disappear from history.
Whenever I have cause to doubt the truth about God's word, I remember Israel.
