Since Christ is the only path to Salvation, Satan is obsessed with destroying Christendom. Satan doesn't care about this or that nation state, though he seeks to subvert Christianity in all states.

The Jews who rejected Christ did so because they expected a Messiah who would restore the nation state of Israel. Yet Christ was never about an earthly Israel ("My Kingdom is not of this Earth.") but about defeating sin and death.

His Kingdom is the New Israel (i.e., the Church), which includes the Church Militant on Earth, the Church Penetent in Purgatory, and the Church Triumphant in Heaven.
