Homosexuals no longer need to hide themselves behind clerical collars. Thus they’re not going into the priesthood anymore.
Maybe the next Pope might figure out that it’s time to get rid of the aberration of celibacy and instead again encourage priests to marry and have families.
Get rid of celibacy?
I’m not Catholic, but I see your point.
It may be the only answer. And it doesn’t have to be a problem, if done right.
