They must be building snowmen in the hot stinky bad place because I'm siding with the Soviet Socialist State of New York on this one. No one has a right, religious or otherwise, to directly endanger the safety of others.

Wait until the Democrats decide that being a Conservative or Republican directly endangers the safety of others.

No one has a right, religious or otherwise, to directly endanger the safety of others.

I admit that I'm pretty ignorant about this whole issue, but one thing always baffled me about it: If you and your own children are vaccinated against a disease, what difference does it make if someone else is not?

I mean: How is the public at large harmed if the Amish (or a Hasidic community, etc.) decide not to vaccinate their families? Isn't this something where the risk is entirely contained within the non-vaccinated groups?

You must be delusional. Having a choice to do what parents feel is best for their children is American, freedom, and God inspired. Forcing everyone to receive government mandated injections by the same group lobbying for population control is insane.

Many vaccines cause damage to the brain. Keeps people from thinking for themselves. Makes them easier to manipulate.

So it is perfectly acceptable in a free country to force people to have their infants injected with metals and other neurotoxins, putting their brains at permanent risk?

If vaccinations were actually immunizations, the vaccinated would have no problem with the unvaccinated.

Well, all the people who ARE vaccinated are not in danger then, are they?

So by not getting vaccinated themselves, they are not endangering any other.

Your nanny statism is not very FR worthy.

"No one has a right, religious or otherwise, to directly endanger the safety of others."

Baloney! Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens have caused massive outbreaks of diseases that have not been a problem in this country for many, many decades... Apparently these migrant invaders have been given the right to endanger the safety of American citizens...and nothing is done about it...

It was one thing when they were concerned with Polio, smallpox, etc. But NOW, the governments are insisting to vaccinate a LARGE schedule of ‘vaccines’ including controversial ones. These medicines, like all medicines, are not 100% safe. We have become science experiments.

Now compare that to the latest concerns of pet owners and veterinarians worried about the massive amount of vaccinations and cancer risks rates rising in pets.

We want to be able to make educated choices for our pets.
But now ourselves and our children?

Just going to drop this here:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29889622

Birth rates in the United States have recently fallen. Birth rates per 1000 females aged 25-29 fell from 118 in 2007 to 105 in 2015.
One factor may involve the vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV). Shortly after the vaccine was licensed, several reports of recipients experiencing primary ovarian failure emerged. This study analyzed information gathered in National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, which represented 8 million 25-to-29-year-old women residing in the United States between 2007 and 2014.

Approximately 60% of women who did not receive the HPV vaccine had been pregnant at least once, whereas only 35% of women who were exposed to the vaccine had conceived. For married women, 75% who did not receive the shot were found to conceive, while only 50% who received the vaccine had ever been pregnant. Using logistic regression to analyze the data, the probability of having been pregnant was estimated for females who received an HPV vaccine compared with females who did not receive the shot.
Results suggest that females who received the HPV shot were less likely to have ever been pregnant than women in the same age group who did not receive the shot. If 100% of females in this study had received the HPV vaccine, data suggest the number of women having ever conceived would have fallen by 2 million. Further study into the influence of HPV vaccine on fertility is thus warranted.

You are simply a collectivist progressive. Live with it, and stand proudly with the left.

No one who is immunized is threatened, so get over it. What we are threatened by is imposition of a foreign body into our body by force.

Oh, yeah? You know what’s in the pipeline here in NY? MANDATORY flu and HPV vaccines for all kids in school from 6 months and older. Voting in January. But the flu shot and a half assed promiscuity vaccine with lots of side effects and little efficacy are cool, yeah? I’m living in communist China, lady. The leaders appreciate your support. You disgust me.

Then maybe you also endorse a “vaccination” against gun ownership....If the vaccinations are so good, then those who want and get them should be safe....right?

And the Soviet State of New York has no right to endanger the safety of children whose parents reject mega cocktails of 20+ doses of God-knows-what into their kids. At LEAST not until more research has been done, by actual scientific standards, e.g., blind studies, etc.
