“this crap is just embarrassing.”

What? This sort of topic doesn’t impress your snooty liberal friends?

It sure is. Everyone knows that the aforementioned players are much too noble hearted and religious to do something like that.

Leveling a coup against the President to bring down the United States is one thing; going after the Catholic church is a bridge too far.

this is a conspiracy theory, but like most conspiracy theories it has a bit of truth in it.

There was a lot of talk about having Benedict arrested for his failure to remove pedophile priests (never mind he actually increased removal of such priests when he was given the job under John Paul II). Some think he resigned to keep the church from having a Pope in jail under criminal indictment.

But this wasn't the first time that powerful people in the church tried to remove the Pope. In the 1990s I remember a lot of “editorials” about removing John Paul II from office when he developed Parkinson's disease.

He refused to resign, and had powerful friends that kept them from removing him, but he essentially lost control of the bureaucrats... allowing the “deep state” equivalent in the Curia for years put their bishops in place

(often the Pope is blamed for not “knowing” about bad bishops, but the Vatican “nuncio” of every country usually suggested people to the office in charge, and for years the one in the USA was pushing the modern types, and I won't even go into rumors how the “Gay” cartel pushed their friends into higher office.)

Yes, a conspiracy theory, but how did McCarrick stay in office for years when everyone including the MSM knew he was a pervert?

One “catholic” organization organized by the Democrats to encourage Catholics to support the pro abort types under the idea that it was okay to approve of abortion if the person wanted social justice/ welfare/socialism was allowed to confuse Catholics into supporting pro abortion politicians:

and McCarrick just smiled and let “catholic” politicians openly receive communion, despite Vatican rules (and basic morality and even St Paul's warning ) being against this.

Then there is the money conspiracy theories.

There was the threats against the Vatican bank for “money laundering”. The Vatican ATM’s actually stopped giving out money at one point and shortly thereafter, Benedict resigned.

and wasn't it convenient that Australia suddenly “discovered” a single man who claimed Cardinal Pell had molested him: at a time when Pell had discovered lots and lots of money being hidden away and that money laundering etc. was being done at the Vatican bank?

Then you have Yallop’s book claiming a previous pope (John Paul I) was poisoned because he was planning to clean up the Vatican bank.

I mean, the present pope is pushing the UN’s Green agenda while appointing known perverts to high office.

it's almost enough to make one believe in the devil attacking the church on many levels,

But more complicated and nuanced than this conspiracy theory.

You have to admit something very bad was in action. Popes don’t retire.
