tossing out the priest is a decision far beyond my pay scale
so I won’t comment on that...
but...

closing the parish?????
why? .....
wouldn’t the normal thing be to send in another priest?
or?
won’t the parishioners want to pray, or?

I am open to being informed, please no flames anyone. Thanks.

Maybe the parish members backed their priest and stopped all donations, stopped attending and the Bishop closed the parish.

Not being a member of said parish, nor even Catholic, though I do follow events as time allows, it seems that the Reverend Bishop has decided that any priest who contradicts the modernist approach of Popes since Vatican II is promoting schism and must be done away with. It is obvious that he was afraid to specify his actions by defining the offending teaching of the priest, for to do so would show his motives to be contrary to Church teaching.
