FAITHFUL, JUST, and NEVER CHANGING GOD, Who bends down to hear our prayers, You have no favorites. What You do for one, You will do for another.

We lift up to You our beloved President Trump. His political enemies are relentless. He and his family are bombarded with fiery darts day and night. Come to his aid. May our President find comfort and strength as he looks to You to govern our nation. May Vice President Pence be a loyal partner to him. Thank You they both acknowledge You as their SAVIOR and the SOURCE of Strength. Grant them great favor and intervene in the affairs of our nation to bring America back to its SPIRITUAL ROOTS. Rescue him from evil plots and plans.

LORD, shine the light of TRUTH on those whose desire is to bring America to its knees. Expose their sinister plots and bring each and every one to JUSTICE. Protect our borders. Just as it was in the days of Nehemiah, may a border wall/barrier be erected to keep illegal aliens, drugs, criminal, violent gangs, and our enemies from entering our sovereign nation.

Protect and provide for members of the border patrol, ICE, and those who suffer temporary financial difficulty due to the government shutdown. Cause the hearts of the people to turn against the legislators who oppose legislation to fund the border wall/barrier. Force these stubborn, malcontents to do the right thing, just as You did to Pharaoh and Balak, who was asked to curse the Israelites, in the days of Moses.

Finally, LORD, grant us peace in our homes, in our churches, and peace in our hearts, when the world all around us seems out-of-control. Our hope and trust are in You.

Holy God,

What worth is life without You? What purpose would our

lives serve if we did not know You? What would be our

reason for living? O Lord, You make all things new and You

bring order and substance, purpose and meaning to all of

our lives. Your Word tells us that You know the plans You

have for us and that they are plans to prosper us and give

us a hope and a future. Help us, Lord, to seek those

wonderful plans so that we may live out Your purposes for

us.

Father, thank You for a President who continues to keep his

promises. We pray that You would help him to become a man

after Your own heart. Guide him in every decision he makes,

and set a watch over his lips so he does not sin against

You. Show him how to respond to every challenge, every

insult, and every victory in ways that honor and glorify

You.

As we think about our military men and women today, we

recognize that all things that they need are found in You.

Without You they are weak, but with You they are strong.

Without You they lack understanding, but with Your wisdom,

they have the mind of Christ. Without You they have no

courage, but with You they can proceed without fear. With

You they can do all things through Jesus Christ Who

strengthens them. Father, we know that You are the God who

equips us to do what we have been called to do. We ask You

to keep our troops in the shadow of Your wings.

Bless Your people Israel, Lord, and help us always to pray

for them. Make their borders secure and help them to be

ready to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask

that You help our nation to be a blessing and a defender of

Your people everywhere.

Lord, without You it is impossible to find peace in this

world. With You, we can enter that special secret place of

the Most High and abide in Your shadow, Almighty God. Thank

You that Jesus died on the Cross to bring us peace. May it

abide in us always, no matter what is happening in this

nation or in this world. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Father God, We praise Your Holy Name, You are above all and in control of everything. We come in a concert of prayer for the protection for our President and Vice President and leaders who are turning to You for guidance in making decisions for our country that are in Your Will. We pray for a hedge of protection against those who would perform evil attacks and bring disease into our nation. Please protect families who are in the line of these malicious actions. Lord, please hear our petition in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen

In the month of Kislev in the twentieth year, while I was in the citadel of Susa, 2 Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that had survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem.

3 They said to me, “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”

4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. 5 Then I said:

“Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. 7 We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.

8 “Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, 9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’

10 “They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand. 11 Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.”
