(Matthew 24:42-44) Jesus said, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
(Hebrews 13:14) For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
(Hebrews 10:30-31) For we know Him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Heavenly Father, How inadequate we are and so unworthy to come before Your Throne. We thank You for sending Your only Son Jesus to serve as a Sacrifice for our sins. We are forever grateful that You are always faithful to hear our prayers offered through Jesus our Lord and Savior. We do indeed serve a Living God.
It is easy to be distracted when we take our eyes off You. We pray Father God that our new body of leaders throughout all levels of government will focus on providing for the welfare of its citizenry rather than focusing on mundane, self-serving, under-false-pretence legislation and policies.
We ask for Your provision of mighty angelic protection for our President and Vice-President, their families, those who are serving in not only the President’s administration but all federal, state and local government workers who are seeking Your Will to do what is right and just for this country. Cull out any which have the intent for personal gain to do harm personally to this administration or any righteous seeking citizen of United States of America. We ask that such will be silenced so they will not have a voice to influence others and that they are brought to justice for the world to see.
You have given us the answer to life in Your Word and the hope of eternal life by trusting in Your Son Jesus. We have neglected our duty to share Your Truths through the generations and now find ourselves in a United States of America mired in sin, greed, lascivious behavior, taking for granted the freedoms we have been given as a nation. May we cry out in repentance allowing our love for You and love for our country to rise up in us for all to witness. . .such a love that will permeate throughout this nation, its families, churches and all facets of our society.
Lord Jesus, Cause a shaking in our nation’s intolerable way of life for us to turn unto righteousness. Let it begin in the churches and families. . . with government heeding the call of its citizenry to turn back to the God of our fathers, turn from our wicked ways in this country.
May our soldiers and county’s defenders not succumb to any notion they are fighting in vain for a country that has lost its love for freedom and the rights of its citizens.
We are praying fervently for our President and Vice-President to declare vocally and with action that as a nation our people will turn back to its Christian heritage and again seek the plans that You intended for us. Heavenly Father, please guide us to be that city on a hill shining Your Glory for the world to see that their Answer too, their only Answer, is Jesus.
Heavenly Father, the fact that the day of Your Son Jesus’ return is unknown should motivate us to live every day in light of the imminence of His return. Father, forgive us for the many wasted hours, wasted years away from the Perfect Plan You had for each of us. Help us turn around, turn around, and heed Your calling and truly focus on being part of Your Army advancing Your Kingdom.
Apart from You we can do nothing. You define our very existence. For those who seek You we are promised safety in the palm of Your hand. Have Your way with Your Children. May You find us, Father God, holding firm to Your Truth and Justice all the while giving You all Praise and Glory. Find us witnessing in Spirit and in Truth wherever You lead us.
Father, hear our prayers. We ask this all in the Precious Name of Jesus, Amen

Oh Father God, this day and always, may we put You first in our lives, may we receive the transforming power of your Holy Spirit and may we give all the glory to You.
I echo Maudeen’s prayer, that those who live according to Your Divine Precepts will rise in all levels of government and that the flotsam would sink. I pray that we would once again be One Nation Under God. In Jesus’ name we do pray

Is America Too Far Gone?
Cannot God Restore America Also?
Is the situation hopeless? Can the Lord not cure our nations wounds? He did so for Israel!
To America and all nations, God still says. "Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: Therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee" (Jeremiah 31:3). To wicked Israel the Lord said, "Will I not make a full end of thee; but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished" (Jeremiah 30:11).
Israel suffered an incurable wound of sin! But there remained a people in Israel who engaged their heart to approach the Lord. To these people He said, "I will cause them to draw near" Jeremiah 30:21).
God healed Israel's incurable wound and saved a nation already under judgment! He restored it and built the city on its own heap! He multiplied and blessed them, and "their children also shall be as aforetime" (Jeremiah 30:20).
I have been saying over and over about America what the Word says about Israel: The wound is incurable.
But God could restore America the same way He did Israel! He could heal the wasted years if He had a people engaged in seeking Him! He could wipe out all the years of wickedness and restore and rebuild! Scripture says God "ransomed him [Israel] from the hand of him that was stronger than he" (Jeremiah 31:11). And He can do the same thing for America! Yes, there is still hope. But time is running out. Pray that God will draw us to Himself and spare the nation until a multitude can be saved.
Are you being devoured even now, the worms of the devil eating away at your life? You can start all over again, and your time-wasting can end now! His law of restoration can begin making everything new in this very hour. Your past can be wiped clean - and this can be the first day of a new life!
We see a picture of such restoration in the New Testament, when Jesus healed a man with a withered hand, "Saith He to the man, stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth: and it was restored whole, like as the other" (Matthew 12:13). You see when Jesus restores you, the old wounds can't even be found!
Beloved, take those old wounds - the worries and heart-naggings about your wasted years - and let God restore to you the very years that were taken away. Then press on toward the prize of your high calling in Him!
