Heavenly Father –
As 2018 nears an end, we thank You, Lord, for preserving our nation so far.
Looking back 50 years to 1968, America was fractured on many fronts: the televised Vietnam War, the unpopular draft, assassinations of MLK and RFK, the rise of the counter-culture, unrest, protests, violence. Questioning the very foundations of our nation.
Actor Emilio Estevez commented on the spirit of the times:
It seems more so today. The foundations of America’s house are being torn down—brick by brick—and replaced by a house of straw on a sand foundation.
In any age, Moses reminds us of our short time on this earth:
Yet, at the end of 1968, many in the world looked up—into the heavens—as astronauts orbiting the moon read from Holy Scripture:
Our Creator God put us on the earth for His glory. His purposes for us and all creation will not be thwarted. With this confidence, we pray for America to become a blessing to the world through the grace of God.
For 2019, we lift up President Trump. Fill him with Your Spirit and Wisdom. Grant him courage, discernment, and strength as he’s relentlessly attacked on all fronts. Deliver him from betrayal and the treachery by the soft coup of the enemy within.
Protect our brave men and women at our borders. Equip them to protect our country. Frustrate the hypocrites who subvert our immigration process to the harm of our people.
Through the power of Your Spirit, may God’s people be revived and ignite another Great Awakening among We, the People.

AMEN to your beautiful prayer.
Lord, we do remember the turbulent’60’s, but at the same time Your Spirit began a movemt that moved from the West Coast and spread across this Nation and eventually other nations. Father I thank You for 1968 and Your salvation that came to me through the Jesus People Movement. There was a great awakening at that time and I witnessed how Your Spirit moved among us. I was transformed from a hippie on the Sunset Strip to a Bible carrying Jesus Freak being fed from a tent in Costa Mesa and having the boldness to spread the gospel on college campus.
Father, I long to see Your Spirit move once more in awakening our youth. Send Your Messengers to light the Fire. Bring the spark that will ignite the hearts of our people.
Awaken us from the devil’s slumber.

God forgive me as I know I am a sinner seeking to walk in your grace and I am truly humbled by the actions of your son and my savior Jesus Christ as he garnered the path for us to reconcile with you . I pray today that you continue to bless and protect our President Donald J. Trump and all who support him as he tries to steer our republic back to a God fearing and loving nation rather than the chaotic vicious and Godless mess the dem’s AND rino’s seek . Please God I love this land which you have allowed me to exist on . A land that has protected , educated and provided for me all of these 57 years with abundance and love . I pray that future generations will walk in your light and realize the splendor and love you generate with a thought and spoken word . I love you and understand that I need to be vigilant against satan everyday so that I will be a positive contributor to you and the society I reside in . It is beyond measure the joy you show me daily , please touch the hardened hearts so that America can spread your word and see the enemies both within and abroad who do not exault you . Thank you for loving me God , Jesus and the helper .

Praise God! Thank You, Lord, that You have put it into President Trump’s heart and actions to bring the troops home from Syria and Afghanistan. Thank You, Lord, that they will be back in this hemisphere. Blessings and protection to all who serve. We ask for travelling mercies on their way home. Lord, we ask for travelling mercies for all those who are travelling this season. We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, and in His name we do pray.

What a beautiful prayer and presentation, dear NEWwoman! That was the year the nation turned against God vehemently. We are still suffering from the actions of the drug-crazed youth, marxist intellectuals and anti-Christian media whose heyday had arrived that year.
Dearest Lord, have mercy on us Christians in exile in the land our pilgrim settlers and founders dedicated to You. Restore in us a confident society of believers who are capable and worthy of self-government through personal responsibility and Bible-based virtue, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
