Heavenly Father –
As Mothers Day approaches, may we keep vigilant that motherhood is under attack on so many fronts: Politics. Pop culture. Planned Parenthood. Political correctness…
Mothers are so important, keeping the human race and civilization alive and thriving. In the Books of I and II Kings as well as II Chronicles, the kings’ mothers are named, attesting to their powerful influence in molding character—for good or for evil.
But Mary, the woman that God chose to bring the Son of God into the world, was unique. She was the only human on record present at Jesus’ birth, His death, and the birth of Church at Pentecost. The foundations of Christianity.
Yet, our Lord accords all who trust in Him as closer than His own family on earth:
May we draw closer to Him, as mothers, sisters, and brothers.
Fill us with the Spirit, Lord. Equip us with Wisdom, discernment, courage, and strength to do the Father’s will in this world. Through the power of the Spirit, may we be Your instrument to bring many more children into Your everlasting kingdom.
Likewise, fill all our leaders who fear You, Lord, to restrain evil and to encourage good in our society, culture, and damaged institutions. Reveal hidden agendas and motives of those who seek to destroy us. Frustrate the enemy within.
Grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 115th Congress. May Your Provident hand move in the 2018 mid-term elections and raise up godly representatives and God-fearing judges to the bench.
Give Your people a heart of repentance. Spark revival and healing in our land. Ignite another Great Awakening.
May America rise, again, and become a blessing to the world.

We cannot help but rejoice in you this day for great things you have done for this nation!.. How awesome your works are in the affairs of men! .....Your mercy on us so undeserved and yet you remain faithful!.. We praise your almighty name on high!
We rejoice as well for the “man of the hour” you have set over this nation throughout these past months.. and all the good he has set his eyes and mind on to accomplish, not just for us but as ‘a nation under God’ as you intended it should be and acknowledged as such.....
...So we come boldly asking that your protect Our President by whatever means you choose and that of his family and his administration, for there are great forces at work to destroy and oppose the will and purposes you would have him accomplish....grant him the mind and heart to distinguish your promptings from the many voices that surround him and clarity to see through the fogs of distraction.... Be for him what he cannot be when he needs so, and grant him your wisdom and understanding when their might be confusion....... Fix his eyes on you in troubling moments and let Him know you have not left him alone with the weight of this nation or the world.......
We ask all this believing that it is under the mighty name of God all things move and have their being.....In Jesus name who alone is worthy......Amen
