. A "new" revelation is fine as long as it agrees with the 1st revelation.

But then it isn’t really a new revelation then, is it?

And it also isn’t needed either since we already have the old revelation to reveal it to us.

So if the new revelation is already in Scripture, it’s redundent, therefore not needed and can be ignored, and if it doesn’t agree with Scripture, then we know it’s not from God and again, can be ignored.
