The lies are the deliberate misreading of scripture, Like “Saved by Grace” instead of by grace are you saved through Faith.

There is no getting around the fact that Scripture DOES say we are saved by the grace of God and NOT by our works - of course it is through faith that we appropriate that grace and receive the gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You are nitpicking something that NOBODY has actually claimed!

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:4-7)

Or using the apostles attack on the false law of the Pharisees as an attack on the covenant that they all preached.

Only it WASN'T the "false law of the Pharisees" that Paul preached against but the false and accursed gospel that obeying the Law of Moses could impart righteousness

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. (Galatians 5:2-6)

When one seeks to establish his own righteousness by the law or any other kinds of works of righteousness, he is FALLEN from grace.

Or ignoring the obvious fact that Acts 15 is a study on how to teach Torah to new believers. Insanity squared!

Here is what Acts 15 says was the problem that initiated the council of Jerusalem:

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. (Acts 15:5)

The "law of Moses" means THE LAW OF MOSES. This sect was trying to force the Gentiles to be circumcised ACCORDING TO the Law of Moses in addition to keeping the Law in order to be justified. How is your teacher saying anything different than these first century dividers?

Funny how e-s hasn’t replied to this post proving him wrong.

It’s almost like he desperately wants to ignore it.
