Actually, after reading 1 Corinthians 13, it seems to me that the perfection that comes is being perfected in love, not the completion of the NT Scripture.
I never could figure out how people presume that Scripture being complete was the perfection coming that caused the gifts to allegedly cease.
Abuse of the Gifts in charismania is so dramatically heretical and dangerous to people's faith that I rarely even think about the unbelief of Cessationism and their cut-and-paste attitude towards the Word.
Plus, they seem to pin their entire argument on New Testament verses.
If God played indian-giver with some of the Gifts there'd be explanation in the Old Testament.
