All modern versions fail if one counts that their underlying texts are the critical/eclectic Greek texts synthesized from the corrupted Sinaitic, Vatican, and Alexandrinian codices and thus unacceptable.

This seems to be; shall we say; a bit judgmental.

It is judgmental. We’ve been through this before, in the same way that the Magisterium sees itself above the authority of the Word of God, so did the various higher and lower critics of the OT and NT texts. It is not seen how Tischendorf’s Sinaticus (Alef) codex got to be useful, judged by the St. Catherine monks to be valueless and found in the burn barrel to light their fires, then resurrected by Tischendorf, other than that it was deemed to be older than B yzantine/Majority Textforms, used and thus preserved by the churches for 1500 years. The only reason Alef got old was because nobody used it. Just one example. Etc.
