This is of course a pantomime, since the Orthodox don't believe there ever was an Adam or a Paradise to be expelled from.
All the liturgies and prayers contain references to events which no Orthodox or Catholic believes in any more. They call this "the language of the church."
In Judaism to thank G-d for doing something He never actually did is considered blasphemous.
