Heavenly Father, please dismantle the evil that so besets this country. . .a country out of control. . . a country that has lost its moral compass. . .so much so that there is little attention by the average person to the decisions being made in government that will have lasting effects on this nation’s future and the future of its people.

Yes, Father, amen!

In an age where...

1) the governments of this world have revealed their moral indecisiveness at best (Western Europe)

or 2) their decisive commitment to the authoritarian legacies of their predecessors (China, Russia)

or 3) to false religions (Islamic world)

I pray that this year, America, and American values rooted in faith visibly triumph in the human contests of the age: from the Olympics to the space race.

For extra favor on our nation and its citizens, especially Christian ones —> to enjoy the earthly fruits of achievment and victory before the watching world.

So that there be no question in the minds of people around the world deciding between engaging in the worthy struggle for freedom and passive conformity to tyranny — that the struggle is worth it and that all meaningful social change is possible with God.

For God to bless, protect, and continue to vindicate President Trump as he makes bold, decisive moves (like commiting to the integrity of Jerusalem and appointing pro-life judges) which bring our country and world more in line with God’s will and priorities.

We know that moral and spiritual triumph must precede economic prowess and political progress. LORD, may our country be a reminder to the world of this reality! We praise you for the restoration of light in a government shadowed in darkness, and the evidences of our renewed economy. May our nation abound in blessings visible and invisible.

And as that famous quote goes: as we let our own light shine, we encourage others to do the same.

LORD, may our light - the torch of liberty shine with ever increasing brightness and intensity in 2018 and beyond.

Help shape us each into citizens worthy of our earthly call.

Please provide a hedge of protection for those who serve to protect and defend the land and people of America and the State of Israel.
