I firmly believe he’ll have no problem extending his “francismercy” to those in homosexual unions.

The relationship between Catholics and Orthodoxy is more complicated than that. But I do agree that in the long term, the net result of changes in Rome will prompt some latin rite Catholics to go to the eastern Catholic churches or to “swim the Bosphorus.”

You don’t understand Catholic theology thus your wrong assumptions. Church cannot be dead because this is church of the Christ... People of the church and even pope in this case might be wrong. Thus every Catholic needs to stick to traditional teachings of the church (Christ ).

Martin Luther was correct 500 years ago and he'd still be correct today.This is in no way a criticism of Catholics as I have many wonderful family members who attend the Catholic church but if this happens, I will hope they see the fallacy in what they're being taught and leave.
