It’s not surprising. There is a trend of so-called evangelicals who are practicing this stuff. The “Together” rally in DC in 2016 was exactly this mindset. I don’t follow Catholicism any longer because it’s doctrine is ripe with unbiblical beliefs (I say this as a former Catholic). Francis has been peddling his “come home” campaigns towards Protestants, and many mainline denominations have bought into it. I believe this is a sign of the times as we move towards the coming One World Religion.

The people who want Protestants to "come home" are Catholics who actually believe in Catholicism.

On the other hand, there's plenty of evidence that Francis thinks Protestants are better Christians than Catholics are. In fact, there's plenty of evidence that faithful Catholics are the only people for which Francis has real disdain.

You left the Catholic Church. Francis is busily destroying it from the inside out.

Not knowing what *kind* of Catholic you are/were, but a question is: just how much Catholic education/knowledge did you have? Makes a difference in one’s viewpoint.

[ I came over from Protestant. How little did I know.
I wasn’t an automatic Catholic by birth.

It was wonderful to learn and gain faith and learn and gain faith. Nothing like it !

It is as clear as a bell that you are right. It is prophesized, so it must come to past, but it is awful to see. I wonder if these pastors are globalist plants to begin with? So much of the Church has become dumbed down with feel goodism it is a wonder that there are so many true Christians. It is only by God's grace.

“...many mainline denominations have bought into it.”

And therein lies the problem. These denominations tend to be very liberal theologically. As in thinking it is okay to be gay, for example. That said, why would anyone want to adhere to Catholicism when it is so anti-biblical with its teachings and traditions? It’s a mystery to me.

As a former Catholic, you will always be a Catholic. The mark of your baptism does not leave your soul.

You are just an in active Catholic at this time in your life. All you need to do is to sit down with a priest and get your questions answered.

I've had my fill of this apostasy. I'm thinking of going from Kyiv to Michigan, to the only evangelical church I've discovered on the internet that touts "reverent worship and expository teaching." And it's true. Kalamazoo, Michigan because the online teaching is great. And . . . no jazzy, coffee shop Hillsong "praise" music, thank you.

Even at MascArthur's church in Southern California I last visited ten years ago, the evening service has had so-called "worship and praise" "led" by worship "TEAMS."

Bye, John, I didn't travel 20 miles and devote 2.5 hours of my Sunday evening to hear some rock-a-billy tunes disguised as praise. JM didn't even speak!!! 3 times!!! Done!!!
