I believe the Apostle Paul described “churches” like this as.”...Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.” 2 Tim 3.2-5

The queers probably didn’t want to attend, they just wanted to force another church to accept them and their lifestyle. Just like most gays don’t really want to be married, they just want to force the rest of us to say that they CAN get married and that it’s the same as normal marriage.

From http://theaquilareport.com/sorry-to-disappoint-the-social-justice-warriors-but-the-faithful-wont-yield-on-religious-liberty/ , one of the links:

“The conventional wisdom is that moral opposition to same-sex marriage will eventually evaporate — that even orthodox religious communities will learn to accommodate new cultural realities, and those few who don’t will ultimately be irrelevant, living on the margins of society. Evangelical churches will cave. The Catholic Church will cave. Jews will cave. In just a few, short years the Christian churches in America will look back at opposition to same-sex marriage with the same kind of shame that Southern Baptists view their segregationist past.”

“That conventional wisdom is garbage.”

Indeed! But though conventional wisdom is garbage it will stop neither the poofters nor those who embrace them from redoubling their efforts. There’s a reason why it’s called the Gaystapo: they think they haff veys to mek you sashay!

(Like hell they do! #neverProgressive)

Queer marriage in an oxymoron. Marriage is ordained by God for the purpose of procreation. Otherwise the sex acts are an abomination to God as set forth in Leviticus and God proscibes special penalty for such repulsive behavior.
“Churches” that fall to Satan are quickly destroyed. Congregations find places to worship not advocating babie killing or sexual abominations.. Putting an adopted child with such deviates should be criminal child abuse.

A picture of a church whose leadership was hijacked by the far-left:

PCUSA down to 1,482,767 members and 9,451 congregations, an average of 157 members per congregation.

Membership is down 36% since 2005. Projected future losses of 75,000 members per year. Peak membership was 4.25 million in 1965.

Some of the reasons: pro-homo, anti-Semitic, pro-Palestinian, pro-Muslim, pro-illegal-immigration.

And who let them in? There’s your real problem. Satan is always going to be true to his native tongue (The Lie). He can do no other.

Us? We have a choice to make concerning the Son. From that choice flows any possibility of walking in true righteousness. “Having a form of godliness, while denying its power” is the norm for most people. It takes the Cross work of Jesus Christ to break that.

Also churches are leaving PCUSA to join other Presbyterian denominations.

UMC units will probably follow.

I’d be surprised if most of these megachurches weren’t
upside down on their construction loans.

Woe to the fence-sitting churches. . .they are an abomination as well.

And public restrooms. And how your child is addressed at school. And story time at the public library. And...

I wouldn’t put a child in any school system today, public, private, or parochial. They’re all infected with the same disease. Homeschooling is the only option, IMO.

I would say “follow the money”.

Leftists burrow into an organization, drive away the traditional members, then loot it’s assets (real estate and endowment) for themselves.

I don’t believe in sex outside of marriage, but I’ve never ascribed to the “sex is only for procreation” idea. That may be true of the animal kingdom, in which females are only receptive to mating at times when they are “in season”, but not for humans. If sex were ONLY for procreation, then God would have instructed people specifically, to only have sex with their wives at certain times of the month, when women were ovulating, and able to become pregnant. He had no trouble allowing or forbidding other things that make scientific sense to modern man, when early generations had no way of understanding the science behind the command. He could have said, for example, “A man may lay with his wife only on _____ number of days before and after ‘the manner of women’, but He didn’t.

Groups and church churches that cave in to the homosexual agenda always lose out. Boy Scouts caved in 2013 and are precipitously down in membership while upstarts that follow godly principles like Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls are experiencing double digit year over year growth.

Absent a moral compass and the presence of the Lord, of what use is a church?

I guess what the Pentecostals called “the shekinah glory” turned out to be a “sh*tcan story”?
