Vatican Reacts to Trump’s ‘Rocket Man’ Speech, No Place for ‘Military Superiority,’ ‘Unilateralism’
Breitbart ^ | 9/21/17 | Thomas D. Williams

In a strongly worded address before the United Nations Wednesday, a Vatican spokesman denounced President Trump’s threats against North Korea as “deplorable.”

Speaking in New York at the 10th Conference for the entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, Archbishop Paul R. Gallagher, the Vatican’s Secretary for Relations with States, noted that the rising tensions over North Korea’s growing nuclear program “are of special urgency,” while sharply criticizing President Trump’s handling of the situation.

“The international community must respond by seeking to revive negotiations,” Gallagher said. “The threat or use of military force have no place in countering proliferation, and the threat or use of nuclear weapons in countering nuclear proliferation are deplorable.”

The Archbishop went on to say that building up a strong military—one or Mr. Trump’s stated priorities—is counterproductive and hearkens back to a Cold War mentality.

“We must put behind us the nuclear threats, fear, military superiority, ideology, and unilateralism that drive proliferation and modernization efforts and are so reminiscent of the logic of the Cold War,” Gallagher said, in evident reference to the American President.

“is counterproductive and hearkens back to a Cold War mentality.”

Why is that bad? Didn’t we win the cold war?

With the Vatican’s help no less.

Clutching their pearls, just like the American bishops.

Besides, when you hear “the Vatican said,” you should hear “Soros said.”

Who do you think is keeping your dumb ass safe and secure behind those walls Frankie? The Swiss Guards? Guess again chump. My nations military is the one reason this world isn’t tearing itself apart. If the day ever comes that the American military isn’t on the job you’d last about as long as an ice cube in a micro wave.

Yeah, just go away Frankie the Red. We’re not listening to you, and you have ZERO power over us.

MY Pope was a Polish guy that helped bring down an Evil Empire.

Popes used to assert authority over matters involving things sacred and leave so-called “matters temporal” to secular governments. This guy seems to stick his snotty nose into everything unless it involves a socialist, communist or muslim fundamentalist government for which he has total forbearance.

“The threat or use of military force have no place in countering proliferation, and the threat or use of nuclear weapons in countering nuclear proliferation are deplorable.”

And just how long does he think it would have taken the USSR to attack America and basically the rest of the world if not for MAD, and for China to conquer at least the South Pacific, and Iran to subdue her enemies if not for the threat or use of retaliatory military force?

How long would it take organized crime to control areas if not for the same? Does he really think crime would not go out of control if not for the threat or use of physical force? Does he even read Scripture, that,

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. (Romans 13:4)

But seeing as the distinctives of his church (whose popes could wrongly employ the sword of men to obtain and maintain power) is not manifest in the inspired record of what it believed then it is no wonder he is deluded here.

But may God in His mercy set the people of North Korea free to know and serve the Lord Jesus who died for them, without any dying that would come to know Him, and without sending leanness into their soul as their bodies gain weight.

Trump should get us out of the test ban treaty.

Kim Jung Un may provide an example of his freedom from it.

So the Vatican is siding with Hillary, Iran, and NK, on President Trump’s speech.

Why am I NOT surprised?

The college of cardinals wanted to increase membership in the Catholic Church.

Well, it backfired on them big time.
