Pray for priests. We live in times when many priests have been trained or led to think that the goal of our ministry is to affirm people and make them feel welcome. There is a place for affirmation and welcoming, but the goal of our ministry is the salvation of souls.

Yes, we are praying for our pastors, district superintendents, and bishops in the UMC. They will be making decisions within the year about leaders who have defiled the Book of Discipline. We have pastors who have married same sex couples (some their children) and a bishop who is married to a same sex partner. They remain without punishment.
Funny thing is, there are those who have committed adultery in their position and resigned....but the homosexuals say they are fine to stay in office!!
