It’s not as simple as just Frankie the Commie. I’m sure I’m not alone when I say I’ve been enduring “the spirit of VatII” for decades.
In my view, SSPX is one of the very few Catholic organizations left in North America. Comrade Frankie wants to say they’re not Catholic, but I think I’m down to casting my lot in with them over the Argentine heretic.
It’s hard enough for me to find an FSSP parish (8 hour round trip). I would never find an SSPX.
I’m ignorant of what exactly it means to be SSPX, but wretching through these NO diminishments, truncations and women run masses is truly becoming my sacrifice to God for reparations. Totally repulsed is not healthy.
SSPX has retained Tradition and the trafictional Catholic fairh. Period.
Except for refusing to vandalize the Holy Mass and agree with an anti-Catholic pope, I find no fault in them. They did not start this quarrel.
It’s impossible for me to believe they are not the Church as it once was and should be again. They should be given deference over the Orthodox and the Lutherans, but traditional piety is discouraged more than those in grave error and abominations.

We discussed that here in great detail some years back. Unfortunately, my memory ain’t what it used to was.
As far as I can recall, the biggest problem I had was the uncertainty of remaining in communion with Rome.
Some people said that SSPX was a schism, and that adhering to it brought latae sententiae excommunication. Others said no, that it was not a formal schism, and one could walk a tightrope.
I hate it that I have to deal with this again this late in the day.
When someone has a tendency to put their hand on a hot stove, endorsing that tendency by calling it natural is an act of hate, not love.
Not too hard to see which side of this argument Satan comes down on, is it?

It’s very alarming. Of all the few errant popes, no way have we ever had a pope who despised the Catholic faith, preferring ideology.
