The problem which I agree with you, is that He’s conflating the commandment to love ones enemies, and even the commandment to preach to all nations with a nonsensical and naive position that people shouldn’t have a single thought about their own security.
Border control and immigration control at their heart, are not about ethnicity, but about security. If people want to come in they have to do so through the front door and not the window or the tunnel underneath the law.
