Because we all believe in what the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church teaches. Unless y'all don't like the current pope then Catholic teaching is all up for grabs.
Just pick your favorite version of Catholicism from church history, claim it's the OTC, and run with it and label anyone who disagrees with you as a heretic.
