There is no doubt in my mind that these cases were setups by the radical gay activists targeting Christians.
That’s what I’ve always thought too otherwise they would find someone else to do their, ahem, “weddings”.......just damn.
Our pastor took a strong and public stance a few years ago against an aggressive "anti-discrimination" ordinance. Because we were afraid that our pastor would be targeted and ask to perform a gay "wedding" ceremony, the elders drafted a church policy that the elders of the church (including the pastor) can only officiate wedding ceremonies involving a church member in good standing or involving someone whom has had a long-term relationship with our church or an elder. We are purposely stating that we only provide this service for people whom we know and not just to anyone who makes a request.
