For me, as for Jesus, every day is Sabbath. The Sabbath is made for man, not man for the Sabbath, when He was walking with His disciples through the fields. Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. 

Because He is, it is fit to honor Him in the coincidence of His resurrection and the gift of the Holy Ghost, and to make that the day of rest. The first day of the week since the coming of the Holy Spirit has been "The Lord's Day."

The Law was not given to nor observed by Gentiles. It was for the Israelites alone, and the Covenant of Law is over with, finished, dead, and to try to resurrect that would be denying the Law of Grace, in my estimate.

Well that sums up the law of imardmd1. That is not what Gods Law says. So you have made up your own law to replace Gods law.

The Law was given to everybody. It was instituted at Creation. Adam and Eve worshiped on the Sabbath. The ceremonial laws were given only to the Hebrews to cleanse them. To prepare them for the coming Messiah. Those ceremonial laws are expired but the Ten Commandments never expire. They were wrote in stone for a purpose. They are kept in Heaven for a purpose. They were kept by Christ for a purpose. Jesus kept the Sabbath and stated "If ye love Me, keep My Commandments" John 14:15.
They weren't called suggestions.
